The climbing center at the USNWC is one of the largest outdoor climbing facilities in the U.S. with the potential to offer high level climbing competitions as well as ideal opportunities to learn to climb. Made to look and feel just like granite, the climbing center offers approximately 5,700 square feet of climbing surface and over 40 roped climbs. The Center consists of both a covered 30ft. tall wall, and an open air 46ft. free form spire for climbing, rapelling, & bouldering at all levels. The center is surrounded by an amphitheater providing a spectacular viewing and event area.
Programs There is a climber inside everyone. Chances are you learned to climb before you learned to walk. Awaken the climber inside by signing up for one of our facilitator led programs. Guided climb This is your chance to try rock climbing with no prior experience. Our trained climbing guides will help you gear up and tie into a series of routes that are customized for first time climbers. The guided climb is one hour with a 1:6 instructor student ratio.
