Thank you for expressing interest in the U.S. National Whitewater Center. At USNWC we all are considered guides. Some of us guide guests down our class II-IV whitewater channels, others provide guidance through reservations, dining, or a pro-shop purchase experience. The guide concept fits us well: a guide leads, directs, explains points of interest. A guide sets a course.
Who we hire: We hire people who connect with people. People who are outgoing. Authentic. Conscientious. Fun. They understand that each guest will seek out a different experience, a different adventure. Our guides are entertainers. They are educators. They are interesting.
Successful candidates embrace USNWC’s mission and comprehend the importance of our community, our environment, and promoting healthy outdoor lifestyles.
The U.S. National Whitewater Center is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity for all individuals and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, national origin or sexual orientation.
