Are reservations required? We highly recommend making a reservation to guarantee a spot on the trip time of your choice, but walk-ups are welcome as well as space permits. Please call 704-391-3900 to reserve your trip.
How long is the trip? The entire experience will last approximately two hours, including the safety talk, boat orientation and time on the water.
When should I arrive? Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled trip time to allow for check-in and changing.
What is included with the trip? All rafters will be provided with a PFD (personal flotation device), helmet and paddle. For an additional fee, wetsuits, splash jackets, and booties are available for rent.
Will our raft be guided? Yes, all raft trips are guided.
Do I need experience? Do I need to know how to swim? No, but you should be comfortable in and around water.
Can I request a guide? We can not guarantee you a specific guide, but we can certainly make a note of the request and do our best to match you up when possible.
What is your cancellation policy? (1-12 guests) Cancellations made prior to 7 calendar days before the scheduled trip may be refunded 50% of the total activity cost. What if the weather is bad? You will be wet regardless of the weather! Our trips go on rain or shine. On the rare occasion we cancel a trip due to weather, you may re-schedule or receive a rain check.
What should I wear? In warmer weather, a bathing suit, shorts and a t-shirt are recommended. Rash guards or quick drying clothing is ideal.
For cooler weather, a bathing suit, rain jacket and or/pants, long underwear, wool shirts/sweaters and warm socks are recommended. Cotton and jeans are not recommended as they will only make you colder!
Wet suits, booties and splash jackets are available for rent. Bathing suits must be worn under wet suit rentals!
Secure footwear with a heel strap is required at all times. No flip flops! Old sneakers, water shoes or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested. If you wear glasses, you will want an eyeglass strap to keep your glasses secure to your face. Come visit our retail store to purchase any of the above items!
Can I tip my raft guide? Tips are not expected, but always welcome and appreciated!
