Is there food available on your site?
Yes!  The Eddy Restaurant and Bar offers a wide selection of healthy, contemporary, American cuisine.  The indoor restaurant and bar offers the perfect relaxation spot after work or play and the outdoor terrace provides outstanding views of the most challenging whitewater on the competition channel.  Alongside the restaurant is Eddy's To Go offering high energy snacks for those on the run. 

The restaurant will be closed Monday 3/24, Tuesday 3/25, and Wednesday 3/26 for final renovations and staff training.   We will roll out a new menu on the 28^th. The name of the restaurant is also changing to the River's Edge.

We also have a full catering menu available for group events. 

No outside food or beverage is permitted on site. 

What is the entrance fee?
There is a $5 parking charge per car.  Guests are welcome to walk around the center and watch their family and friends run the river free of charge. There is a .8 mile trail around the channels providing great views of paddlers running the river. We do ask that small children be kept under constant supervision as there are no guard rails around the river.

Do you have locker rooms?
Yes, we have heated locker rooms with restrooms, showers, changing facilities and lockers.

Do you have lodging?
The USNWC does not have lodging or camping on site. However, McDowell Nature Preserve & Copperhead Island Campground, owned by Mecklenburg Park & Rec, is only 16.8 miles away. camping.charmeck.com 

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes! The USNWC Adventure Card makes a great gift for any occasion. You may purchase the Adventure Card in the retail store or call our reservations department at 704-391-3900 to have one mailed to you.
