The advanced Swiftwater Rescue course focuses on paddling in more challenging whitewater for trip leaders and those desiring to further develop their rescue skills. Critical judgement and rescue awareness, impacting both personal and group safety are emphasized.
Students will participate in simulated real life scenarios to practice their skills individually and within a team or group context. The scope and content of the course will be customized further based on the specific needs, interests and experience level of the participants.
