The U.S. National Whitewater Center is an outdoor recreation facility set on the banks of the Catawba River. Our 307 acres of woodlands is home to the world's largest recirculating river, 14 miles of biking, 2 zip lines, team development center, hiking and running trails, and one of the world's largest outdoor climbing facilities...

Position Information: 
Function as a guide in the operation of all of our Land Based activities.  Currently these include 2 ziplines, climbing wall, and mountain bike rentals.  Work within a team of guides providing a safe and positive guest experience in all of these areas.  Guides will be responsible for the daily set up, operations and guiding of guests through all Land activities at the USNWC.

 3. Qualified applicants will be contacted by phone for invitation to LandSport Guide School.
 4. Qualified applicants will choose & attend a guide school session. ($75)
 5. Job offers will be made based on successful completion of guide school and a final interview.

2 days - Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm each day

There are limited spaces available, so apply & sign-up early to secure a spot.

Job Requirements (Attending training does not guarantee employment):
~Available to at least work 4 days per week
~Ability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings & holidays
~Ability to connect with youth and adults in a fun, professional manner.
~Emotional maturity, energy and enthusiasm
~Ability to lift 50 lbs, ascend stairs, and comfort at heights.
~Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
~Minimum age: 18
