Swiftwater Rescue II

This intensive two day workshop focuses on recognition and avoidance of common river hazards, execution of self rescue techniques, advanced rescue methods used in team dynamics, and scenarios based on real life rescues.  The USNWC Swiftwater Rescue II follows NFPA 1670 guidelines for swiftwater rescue.  Each day will start in the classroom and will move to the river for hands on training in the afternoon.  This course is aimed primarily at anyone confronted with potential water rescue, as well as the possibility of self rescue.
