Bring your classroom on an educational field trip at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. If you’re committed to education and environmental excellence, our Educational Adventures (EA) make for an exciting and enriching out-of-classroom experience.

National Curriculum Standards

Open to grades K-8, all of our EA courses meet National Curriculum Standards. The updated Correlation Chart to show how our curriculum correlates to the National Curriculum Standards is coming soon.

Through our EA programs students will:

  • Gain knowledge about the environment through exploration of local habitats and ecosystems
  • Become aware of human impact on our planet and learn to demonstrate an increase respect for the environment
  • Gain confidence in decision making and improve self esteem
  • Participate in team building and problem solving activities
  • Promote healthy lifestyles through USNWC activities
  • Become environmental stewards of tomorrow
